An Ernst & Young Insight Day will show you what life and work is really like at a leading global business. You can leave it there if you like, but it could also be the start of a journey that leads to more experience with us.

Whatever happens afterwards, it’s a great experience and a great way to learn more about the world of business.

What is an Ernst & Young Insight Day?
A one-day experience at various locations around the UK. The day show you what happens behind the scenes at businesses like ours. You’ll get to work as part of a team solving a client brief and developing the skills you need to succeed in business.

The day will also help you decide whether you should get on a placement or internship here whilst you’re at university.

Why go on an Insight Day?
You’d be amazed at how much business know-how you pick up – and that’ll make your time at university seem much more valuable and interesting. It’ll help your fundamental understanding of business and your commercial awareness will grow too.

You’ll leave the day with broader skills and a greater understanding of the commercial world around you. And as well as finding out how we use our individual strengths at work, you should discover more about yourself and where your strengths lie.

It’s not about discovering your ideal career path. It’s about learning some new skills, finding out about business, and getting an insight into your own strengths.

Who can join?
As a minimum, you need:

  • A minimum B grade in GCSE Mathematics and English Language.
  • At least 300 (24) UCAS points (not counting General Studies or re-sits).
  • A predicted 2:1 degree in any subject.

Please note: in exceptional circumstances we will accept applications from candidates who do not meet our academic requirements. If this is your case, you will need to provide strong justification for why we should consider your application. You will also need to provide documentary evidence of any mitigating circumstances.

How do I apply?
Just click the company name at the top of the page and complete our online application form. Once you’ve submitted it, we’ll ask you to take our online numerical, verbal and abstract reasoning tests.
