CLOSING DATE: TBC

You don’t have to go to university to get ahead. As an EY School Leaver you’ll step straight into the workplace, develop valuable technical skills with structured training, and gain a sought-after professional qualification – without university fees and student debt.

Our five-year training programme lets you join Ernst & Young straight after your A Levels. From an early stage you’ll gain valuable experience on client assignments, working within Assurance, Corporate Finance or Tax. At the end of five years, you should have a professional qualification and be perfectly set up to take the next step in your business career.

Your start point
Applications for the EY School Leavers programme are currently open.

We do not have a closing date, so advise applying early to avoid disappointment.

Your development
With access to an incredible combination of training and work experience, joining the EY School Leaver programme is a great alternative to the traditional university route – with the same excellent career at the end of it. You’ll get into business and start earning straight away – building the fundamental business skills, confidence, networks and knowledge to set you on your way. At the same time, you’ll be studying for a professional qualification, for example Chartered Accountancy – enjoying the benefits of a dedicated coach to support you. You could even qualify sooner than some graduates. In England you’ll work towards your professional qualification through the ICAEW, whilst in Scotland you’ll do it through ICAS.

Your future
We promise you’ll learn a lot in five years with us. By the end you’ll be doing the same work as university graduates and could be on the way to becoming a Partner with Ernst & Young – if that’s the direction you want to take. How far you progress really is up to you. However long you stay with us, the experiences you have and skills you learn will last a lifetime,

Entry qualifications
You can apply to the EY School Leaver programme in your final year at school. You must have Grade B or higher in GCSE Mathematics and English Language and a predicted 300 (24) UCAS points from 3 A2 Levels, or from 5 highers (not including General Studies or A2 re-sits).

Applying
There are two parts to the application process. First, you must complete our online application form. After that, you’ll need to complete an online strengths assessment. We will then test your numerical, verbal and abstract reasoning skills and, if things go really well, you’ll be invited to spend a day at an assessment centre before being offered a place on the EY School Leaver programme.
