If you’re looking for an alternative route to the traditional school, university, employment path, our 3-year Risk Consulting School and College Leaver Programme could be just the thing. We’re offering you the chance to gain marketable skills, a professional qualification and a starting salary of around £20,000.

We’re looking for talented people who are every bit as ambitious as we are. This is a real job with training so you can earn, learn and pick up recognised qualifications as you go. Here, you’ll get to work closely with our skilled professionals and experience a varied and challenging range of Risk related projects. Then, as you gain more experience, you’ll get involved in more complex, specialist work too.

So, if you want to start work straight after school or college, we give you the opportunity to do just that. This is a fresh route into KPMG.

What is Risk Consulting?
When you think about it, Risk has an impact on all businesses – any sector, any size. So you won’t be surprised to hear that you’ll get to work on a range of projects with a range of different clients – from the small, to the big, to the very big.

Risk is more than just providing clients with advice about the risks their businesses face. It’s about finding solutions to problems. Problems that vary from the very small to the potentially catastrophic. That’s why our clients value our service and why we’re respected all over the world for our professionalism, ability and quality of work.

It’s also why we’re able to provide our people with opportunities to build their skills and experience and further their career.

Who is it for?
First and foremost, we’re looking for talented school or college leavers who want a career in professional services. You’ll be fully committed to achieving a professional qualification and you’ll have the ambition to take your career as far as your potential allows.

How do I apply?
First up, take a look on our website and read all the information available to you. Then, you’ll need to fill in the online application form. If you’re successful, you’ll be asked to take part in our online numerical and verbal reasoning tests to see if you’ve got the skills for the job.

If successful in the tests, you will be invited to attend a first stage assessment in the Canary Wharf office. This will include an interview which is all about introducing yourself, telling us why you’re the one for us, and finding out more about what we’ll do for your career as well as a written exercise. For the final stage, you’ll have an interview with one of our partners, and you will also be asked to deliver a presentation.
